The map below displays several relevant locations. In South Africa, it illustrates the location of Cape Town toward the southern tip, as well as Johannesburg, where all participants should arrive. The Big Five Marathon occurs northwest of Johannesburg in the Entabeni Game Reserve. Further west is the Manyeleti Game Reserve, where participants can extend their stay in the Mantobeni Camp. Alternatively, one can join an extension to Victoria Falls, on the border of Zambia and close to Botswana, or to Namibia, where towering red sand dunes and aquamarine coastlines await.
